Joseph Avila:

As Vice President of Client Relations and Global Sales responsible for key customer interactions and overall revenue growth. Joe brings over 23 years as a Sales Professional with extensive experience providing software, hardware and services solutions to meet customers’ business needs in various markets and industries. Additionally, Joe brings solid channel sales experience, strong leadership, organizational, communication and negotiating skills coupled with a successful proven sales track record of increased sales revenues, market share, profitability and customer satisfaction.

In 2005, Joseph joined Sun Microsystems, Inc. as a Global Account Executive. Joseph was responsible for strategically delivering Sun’s vision as an innovative industry leader in servers, storage, software, and services with a 100 percent focus on network computing. While at Sun, Joseph’s sales performance resulted in over $50 million dollars in revenue to Sun Microsystems bottle line.

In 1999, Joseph worked as a Senior Coverage Software Sales Representative for the IBM Corporation. While at IBM, Joseph was responsible for driving and growing IBM Software Revenue, articulated IBM's e-Business on Demand strategy to key customers in the Distribution Sector. Accounts Included: Cendant Corporation, Colgate Palmolive, Unilever Corporation, Avon Corporation, Loews Corporation, Polo Ralph Lauren, and ISI Mars. Joe was responsible for providing leadership thru the use of the Solution Sales Methodology. While at IBM, Joseph’s sales performance resulted in over $33 million dollars to the IBM Corporation’s bottle line.

Joseph graduated from Pace University, the Dyson School of Business, with a degree in organizational communications and human resource management.

Matthew Flippen:

As Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, Matthew Flippen is a native New Yorker and a seasoned professional with over 33 years of advanced technologies sales and sales management experience with some of the top manufacturers of computer hardware, software and services.

Matthew has held various sales and sales management roles for companies such as Sun Microsystems, Computer Associates, UPS Logistics, and Digital Equipment Corporation. Matthew is a proven leader and an expert in developing comprehensive solutions that have resulted in cost savings and performance enhancing projects for numerous Fortune 1000 companies in the Financial, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Education, States & Local Government and SMB market sectors.

Matthew has a wealth of experience in the areas of business planning, new business development, strategic marketing, channels partner development and territory management/development.

Matthew was also instrumental in the development of Sun Microsystems Value Added Reseller business within the Northeastern corridor of the United States.

As a member of the Senior Leadership team for Up County International, Matthew is engaged in developing sales and marketing opportunities that connect East African coffee farming cooperatives with complementing business partners both here in the United States and abroad. In many cases, these newly form relationships have provided a mutual benefit for both parties. The benefits to the East African villages being economic development and quality of life improvements with respect to education and healthcare. The benefits to business partners being the fulfillment of existing global stewardship and sustainability initiatives.

In recent years, Matthew has added renewable energy, energy efficient and environmental technologies and solutions to his existing set of expertise.

Matthew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences from St. John's University and both a Green Technologies and BPI Energy Auditor certification from Rutgers University Advanced Career Extensions.

Wilmot Gibson: (Advisory Board)

Currently, VP, Technical Project Manager at TD Bank, Wilmot is an Information Technology Professional and Senior Certified Project Manager with strong management and analytical attributes that improve business practices, processes, and operations. Extensive strategic planning and leadership experience working with Fortune 500 companies in the US and internationally (Egypt, Liberia, UK, Canada and Mexico). Track record of driving results through team performance and consistently surpassing client expectations.

Able to construct complex technical solutions based on experiences in the design, implementation, and delivery of complex projects. Experienced in managing outsourced and offshore resources in a diverse team environment.

Reputation for meeting requirements while delivering timely, cost effective, customer focused and quantifiable, particularly on difficult enterprise business and technical projects. Known for integrity, building relationships and creating positive, productive work environments with excellent communication and mentoring skills.

Lenora Avila: (Advisory Board)

Lenora began her work in the Telecommunications industry with MCI in the Mid 1980’s. In 1999 she joined Telx as Director of Customer Relations. Telx is a strategic partner for global interconnectivity and data center solutions. Their strategically located, network-neutral interconnection and colocation facilities provide cost-effective, reliable and secure access to an ecosystem of 900+ telecommunications carriers, ISPs, content providers, enterprises and more. Over the last twelve years, she has assumed progressive responsibilities and been integral to the success and growth of this world-class connectivity solution provider based in New York City. As a dynamic, assertive facilitator her customer-centric role revolves around customer acquisition, retention, loyalty and satisfaction taking all necessary strategic and practical steps to gain insight into the customer's needs and how to meet them quickly and directly.
